I met you out street witnessing on the Santa Monica Promenade with Preacher R____ last Friday night. I am the man who was sharing the love of Jesus with a young atheist who had just walked away from the Preacher, R____. Remember?

How could I forget the kid who walked away so angry after encountering Preacher R____!

I also went to Lutheran church when I was a young boy... I watched people pray and nobody was healed... Then they just gossiped about each other behind each others back.... After a few years of that I walked out and said "Jesus, I believe You did those miracles, but I don't think these church people really know You. And if they don't know You then how can they lead me to You? Therefore I am asking You, Lord, to reveal Yourself to me....." I was about 10 years old at that time.

My cousin was born again at the age of 27 and was zealous for the things of God. Too bad the believers of his church at that time didn't know about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. After a few years of doctrine and no real power of God, he now has found himself in a Hindu faith that teaches him to have a fake peace and a sort of power. Now try to get him back.

Why don't we hold them when we get them??? No power of God. No real relationship with Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit, you know the Trinity. Most ministries don't have the power of God. So instead of getting more serious with their own walk to find out why God doesn't confirm there words with sighs and wonders (according to scripture), they hide behind their interpretation of doctrine and substitute doctrine for a relationship with a supernatural Loving God. Then they get men saved into condemnation. They say the "sinners prayer" just to stay out of hell, They don't join to link up with the best friend you can ever have the one and only creator of the universe. Because God hasn't been presented in all His glory and splendor but rather in His wrath.

I guess you can't really blame these preachers though.. they don't have anything more to offer men. So they do the best with the limited relation they themselves have with God.

So to get back to answering your question... Yes, I do remember the young man of whom you're speaking. He was so upset, and so was my spirit.. After Preacher R____ leaves the ground, I live in and labor in and I have to clean up the mess. It is very upsetting to me to see men, in the name of Jesus, so twist scripture to where they think it is edifying to get kids that angry at the name of my Loving Lord who cared enough to die for them. Jesus never once argued like that with an unbeliever.... Or someone honestly seeking truth.... Instead He met them where they were. His mere presence convicted them of how empty of God and that level of Love they really were.

The goodness of God leads men to repentance. Only after Jesus caused Peter to catch the fish (the miracle) was Peter convicted of how void of that kind of Love he truly was... And falling to his knees he said I am not worthy....

The GOODNESS of God leads to repentance... Not the condemnation of the preacher... The ONLY people Jesus called vipers and snakes were the self righteous preachers that preached condemnation.

Men use formulas to squeeze salvations out of people when they themselves don't have the power or presence of God on there ministry.

I will try if I have time. We have got several radio interviews and television interviews coming up across the nation. But realistically I saw no edifying fruit to partake of when R___ ministered?? sorry... argued. (I wouldn't call that ministering.)

Jesus tells us that you will know what SPIRIT a man/preacher is of by the fruit he produces.

That scripture has been twisted by "teachers of doctrine" to mean if you manipulate more people than the other guy to say the "sinners prayer" than you have more fruit and therefore more validity to your ministry.

Of course if you follow up you will find most of these "converts" go back into the old life-style or join cults etc. We have got to link them up with the right Spirit. Hello?...

God is a Spirit... In order to have relationship with God we must fellowship with His Spirit. we fell out of relationship with God's Spirit.

I am supposed to lead them back into a relationship with God... who is a Spirit. Father of all spirits. All that come to God must worship in Spirit and truth, for God is a Spirit.

Perhaps, when Jesus said they will be known by "their fruit," He really meant: Many will come in My Name... and here's how you will know if it is My Spirit.... By the fruit it produces in you.... Moment by moment.... You see men can be inspired by another spirit! Doctrine is not enough.

I would never let the "fruit" that Preacher R___ was manifesting that night, spirit of contention and strife, enter into one of my meetings. It would totally quince the presence of God. Because it is a different spirit!. You will never see God heal in that atmosphere because God is no where near that atmosphere!

That was not the Spirit of God but rather the works of the Flesh. Strife and contention.. It's in the book! If that spirit did manifest I would turn the experience into a teaching so as to help the students understand what just happened. Hey, that sounds scriptural... (Sorry, it's all my training and the Bible Collage classes I teach slipping out again.)

Remember we are not to argue or allow a Spirit of strife or contention because it is a FRUIT of the Flesh or beast nature....

It amazes me how blinded and spiritually self-righteous men can become. And when the healing power of God isn't in their ministry then they come up with some more doctrine, and then force it on their disciples. :-(

Now Pastor Mike, your fruit (without knowing any of your natural accomplishments or credits of man etc.) was love, mercy, gentleness, patience and a genuine caring... And I appreciate God in you.

See how easy that tool Jesus gave us works?

You are definitely welcome in my city any time. In fact, bring in more of that spirit please. Worshippers that just love on Jesus will bring in a most agreeable atmosphere of God and the atmosphere of God will convict people of sin without even preaching. That is if it is true from the heart worship and not just a entertainment praise.

You don't understand how long I have been fighting (in prayer that is) so as to bring in an atmosphere where people are DRAWN to Christ. The GOODNESS of God..... Oops, there I go again with the scripture stuff....

I am with these people in this city every day and most can't stand Christians because there mental image of a Christian is the "Preacher R___" stereotype, which they hate � not because they are sinners and the anointing on Preacher R___ convicts them of there sin without Preacher R___ even saying a word (which you won't see happen) but because anyone that acts like a jerk for any cause is still a jerk. Wrong spirit. Jesus was not a jerk nor did He act like one in the name of God. It said he had favor with God (that's why the results when He prayed, miracles!!) and favor with man.. Hello fruit again... And more scripture....

It is very hard to get through the damage that people like Preacher R___ cause in others... In fact, the devil uses that to program the mind set of the world.

I am praying for favor with the city of Santa Monica and Venice for the spirit of Christ to enter in. The fight that broke out (instigated by Preacher R___) and then Preacher R___ calling on the police to come help is, if allowed to continue in my city, what will shut down other Christians with the "right spirit" from having public voice.

God's plans for this city are far to important than Preacher R__ learning the correct spirit under which to minister.

I wanted to take R___ aside and have a few words with him.... However the grace of the Lord sent me to get one of my videos to give him instead.. It is Called "Miracles and The Kingdom Of God." It is about ministering under the RIGHT Spirit... And enter an atmosphere where all things are possible. Remember people are looking for truth and a supernatural relationship.

Hello! God is supernatural and we were created to have a relationship with a supernatural God. If we can't offer a relationship with a supernatural Creator then people will look else where. That's why Jesus said, "Heal the Sick and cast out demons," Demonstrate the power of the Kingdom of God just like I do. If you are my disciple. Jesus always healed anyone who asked and believed!

Paul said don't put your faith in the doctrine coming out of men but rather put your faith in the Demonstration of the power of God. Hello! That is the scriptures or doctrine!!

It is to be just the same today. Back to that goodness....

We need people saved into the Goodness of God.

In the atmosphere or presence of God is fullness of Joy... oops, more scripture.. We need people saved into a real relationship with a caring God not a wrathful God waiting for man to break the rules... besides God said He made a new covenant because the law wasn't working. Read Galatians and Romans... and Isaiah, etc.

Jesus never chased down sinners and argued with them, ever period!!

The "new" covenant is now established because of Jesus and is what we enter people into. Relationship... God will do the convicting.

Remember when Jesus, talking to the religious zealots of the church of His day... He said to them "you neither enter in and you hinder those trying to enter in. The blind leading the blind.... You make them more a son of hell... (under the same religious condemnation) than yourselves....

The problem with the "fruit?" of R___'s ministry is that his disciples learn to argue and strive with men just like Him... However they never learn to do what Jesus said to do ... Heal the sick and cast out demons....

My disciples not only demonstrate the Love of God but Demonstrate the healing power of God as well... it's scriptural, and it wasn't always that way for me until God convicted me and knocked me off my high spiritual pride horse. And I am glad He did!

I believe God is real with us and I believe in being real with him. I don't want a religious relationship with my Father but an Abba-real-Father-son relationship.

Thank you, brother, for such a thorough response to my letter. Yes, I would very much like you to send me your ministry tape. I have been longing for more power and experience of the things of God in my life. I'm at Calvary Chapel. Have you heard of it? I remember the "Jesus People" days of the late 60's and early 70's. I miss the power of the Holy Spirit moving among his people. I have not seen any real power in the Church in a long time. I have not seen signs and wonders for years! You've got my attention brother. Speak to me!
