We have all been watching the news and isn't it interesting? It seems that it takes a tragedy to turn people's hearts back to God and bring unity. Unity is very important, however, unity under what banner?

As a nation, we seem to be moving toward easier wire taps for the federal government, closer scrutiny of all our people, and rightly so or else how in the natural or flesh can we deal with these things? The Ten Commandments were also laws designed for the flesh, or natural man, as rules to keep man from self destruction.

Isn't it interesting how Paul said, 'The Law was good and was there as a schoolmaster until Faith has come.' However, 'If we walked in/by the Spirit, we were not under the Law.' Because of the fruit, being in the Spirit would produce in us "Love, grace, forgiveness, kindness, gentleness, longsuffering, patience, etc."

Jesus also pointed out that even if men couldn't quote the laws of God but their actions were righteous, i.e. love, grace, mercy, etc., that it was accounted to them for righteousness. Why? How could this be if they didn't go to church and study? Because God himself wrote these laws upon all men's hearts to do them.

My anger burned as well as everyone else's at the indignation of what was perpetrated not only on American citizens, but really on The World Trade Center, which by it's very name is prophetic, representing many nationalities from around the world, and as the news pointed out, "a way of life."

Now, as people rally together, notice how the media shapes and influences people's opinions about what is acceptable and what isn't. I am not making a judgment on whether or not we should bomb them and leave a bunch of craters overseas, but rather, as a prophet and spiritual leader, I have my eyes opened to the times.

Apparently, Rev. Jerry Falwell said on the 700 Club that, "God was lifting His hand of protection upon this nation." I felt the timing of that might have been a bit inappropriate as many were returning to church seeking God. I didn't personally feel led to slam them in the face now that this tragedy had opened many hearts and they were actually seeking a loving and forgiving God. That is why we must be led of the Spirit of God and not the spirit of condemnation that walks hand-in-hand with scriptures and is so prevalently perceived about the church.

Many times we get saved into a spirit of "Condemnation." If we are not delivered of that spirit, then we will impart it to others, not even realizing what we are doing. The idea is to get each person opened up to God's mercy and to receive the Holy Spirit (it is the first miracle Jesus pointed out to do)! The tragedy already got them to turn and seek His face. Jesus said, you forgot the weightier things like grace and mercy.

A spirit of religion is always quick to condemn and point the finger. Yet, Jesus said, if you don't believe my words, you won't escape the condemnation that comes from Hell. He also said, you search the whole world over and teach them and make them more a son of condemnation than yourselves. So perhaps we need to be just a bit more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and people's needs and not be so caught up in saying, "See, I have been warning you for years. Why didn't you listen?"

Instead, we need to bring healing and grace as, after all, we are God's ambassadors. Remember the prophet Jonah? Boy! He went through literal hell and like a man, when the people repented, he got angry. Boy, God, after all I went through, the least you could do is blow them up or something!

Perhaps by using a more widely acceptable term, the same idea could have been expressed without looking like the condemnation church so many left in the first place.

Consider this, most people in the world accept the term "Karma" and yet most Christians never even bother to notice that this expression is covered in the Bible. "God is not mocked, what you sow you reap" and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Too often we turn off people truly trying to understand God and His kingdom, by our Christian vernacular. The idea here is to speak a language people, unfamiliar with God, can appreciate and understand. Paul said to "Be all things to all men." Perhaps people would have received the idea that when you sow death and values that break down the moral fiber and family values (abortions, sodomy, rebellion, pride, self-righteousness) you will reap that "Karma" i.e. death and destruction of moral values and families.

Speaking of pride and self-righteousness, during one of the tapings of "A Prophet's Reward," God spoke to me and said, "Do you want to know why there are so many divorces in the Body of Christ?" O.K., I asked, why? "Because my people called by my name and anointed of Me are speaking division against each other and other denominations and people within the Body of Christ, gossiping about other people's relationships", etc. "Touch not my anointed and do My Prophets no harm." Our Karma is coming upon us, my brethren, according to God, that is.

We are supposed to be the agents taught and led by the Holy Spirit designed to bring healing and unity, teaching people about God's Kingdom, remember? Perhaps by living it and being an example instead of gossiping about someone's husband or relationship and stirring up strife, perhaps we should consider "Getting a Life" and stop minding everyone else's.

Which sin is worse, lying, sodomy, fornication, abortion or gossip? You are right, they are all sin! Perhaps we shouldn't be so quick to kill with the sword. "He who kills with the sword will in like manner be killed" according to the book of the Revelations of Jesus Christ. But enough of my accountability and responsibility. Their sin produced this, right? Even as we drive them away from the presence of God with our religious
services......hmm?

Anyway, that is not really what God has put on my heart, but rather what that comment stirred among the television personalities or talking heads of the programming medium. I heard comments regarding what Jerry Falwell said likened to "Radical religious groups like the terrorists" and "words are so powerful" as if to ban them.

As I said earlier, with new wire tapping laws on the horizon and the federal government girding up to closely screen all our citizens, it is very important that a "right" spirit be presented throughout the media. Otherwise, in the future these new laws and heavy government control currently designed to protect its' citizens, under a wrong spirit could
become very oppressive to the individual citizen or religious group. Religion is under very close scrutiny right now.

The most powerful tool the devil has is the media! Make no mistake.

People who ignorantly open doors by crossing a line God tells us not to cross, receive evil spirits or attitudes into themselves. Unfortunately, people have no clue that their personality has just been added to, and instead feel that this is a new way of thinking. This is how the demons attempt to rule and hide from a Holy God.

Keep in mind, Paul said our war is not to hurt people or even in the natural realm, but rather our war is in the spiritual realm against powers and principalities that cause people groups to sin and believe corrupt things. Thus, abominations are created in the natural realm that, of course, have a significant impact upon us all.

If we do not get behind Christian producers, broadcasters and celebrities in the secular arena, if we do not become those support systems, if we do not conquer the Key media cities with a "spirit" of accountability, if we do not talk a language people can receive and understand and thus usher in the Presence of the Lord and the acceptable time of the Lord to each of these key lives, a very wrong spirit and a bad perception of a Holy God will continue to go throughout the world via our local media, picking up and gaining even more popularity. Jesus didn't "Hook" the woman caught in adultery by quoting scriptures and judging her. Instead, He got her attention by forgiving her and helping her understand that the choices she was making in her life were not only hurting other people, but that if she continued she would never find the love and fulfillment God intends in her life.

God gives us spiritual weapons, wisdom, understanding and an anointing to bring revival to these key territories. "The Goodness of God leads men to repentance," not the condemnation of the preacher. Then after the MANIFESTATION of the supernatural miracle, Peter fell on his knees and said, 'depart from me Lord, I am a sinful man'.
