Dear Friends,
Increasingly heavy demands have fallen on our shoulders as we equip the Christian community to address the rapidly growing Buddhist movement around the world. Over the last decade, Buddhism has grown in America by 170%, compared to Christianity's 5%.
It's hard to drive anywhere in California and not see a hanging banner advertising some Buddhist exhibit. Indeed the sixty Buddhist art exhibits at Universities and Museums across the US under the auspices ofAwake (West Coast) and The Buddhism Project (East Coast) continue to make inroads into America as they ramp up to promote the establishment of the $200M Maitreya Project in India in 2005, a Buddhist "Mecca" of sorts....
